Jessica Lopez is a highly accomplished HR leader and SHRM-SCP certified professional with nearly a decade of progressive experience driving strategic human resources initiatives across diverse multi-state organizations. With a unique blend of HR expertise and legal training, Jessica brings a powerful perspective to workplace strategy — helping businesses navigate compliance, enhance culture, and build high-performing teams.

 

Her background spans all major HR functions with a special focus on employee relations including investigations, multi-state payroll administration, HRIS optimization, and workplace compliance. Jessica has consistently led transformative initiatives that improve organizational efficiency, reduce legal risk, and foster inclusive, people-centered work environments.

 

Currently serving at Grimalkin, Jessica partners with forward-thinking companies to deliver tailored HR solutions in a consultant capacity, from developing compliant policies and procedures to facilitating leadership training and cultural change. Prior to this, she held senior HR leadership roles at Animal Behavior College, where she played a key role in reducing turnover, increasing productivity, and saving the organization over $100K in potential liabilities during her first year through proactive legal compliance and risk mitigation.

 

Jessica holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in Human Resources, a J.D. with a focus on Intellectual Property & International Law, and a B.A. in Psychology. She is also a multi-award-winning leader, recognized as Manager of the Year (twice) and Employee of the Quarter several times for her impactful contributions.
